East Ridge Country Club & David Toms Academy Junior Golfer, Noah McWilliams recently qualified for the National Boys Junior PGA Championship firing scores of 73-67 140 at Oakwing Golf Club. Noah will compete in 45th Boys Junior PGA Championship at Kearney Hill Golf Links in Lexington, Kentucky July 12th – July 15th.
Continuing his great play, Noah also qualified for the 73rd U.S. Junior Amateur Championship at Oakbourne Country Club in Lafayette, Louisiana firing a 1 under par 71. Noah birdied the first hole of a sudden death playoff over Bryant Hiskey II of Houston, Tx. to capture the 2nd qualifying spot in the event.
Carson Cooper of Spring, Texas carded a round of two-under-par 70 to take the medalist honors at the U.S. Junior Amateur Qualifier, conducted by the Louisiana Golf Association (LGA) in association with the USGA, at Oakbourne Country Club, in Lafayette, Louisiana. He will be joined by Noah McWilliams of Benton, Louisiana as they go on to the Championship proper at The Country Club of North Carolina in Pinehurst, North Carolina, that will be held on July 19-24, 2021.
Noah is the son of Robby and Danielle McWilliams from Benton, Louisiana.
